A fractional ownership bizjet company has just declared that a Gulfstream G700 is priced at $96MM…so, with apologies to Aristotle and slightly twisting the idiom, this appears to represent “the sum of the parts being greater than the whole”.
It is common knowledge that buying pizza by the slice is usually more expensive than buying the whole pie (and cutting into slices).
The same is approximately true in the fractional bizjet world and as correctly observed in a recent bizjet article; if a Gulfstream G700 is the “chariot of choice”, buying a share “today” can preclude the lengthy wait for a whole Gulfstream G700, (ie., the whole pie).
That said, any potential G700 buyer willing to wait the circa 20-24 months to acquire a brand new G700 could save millions over the “fractionally-stated” $96MM price tag (the “slices” costing probably circa $12MM apiece).
There are a limited number of G700 sales occurring (post-delivery) and a recent sale to a fractional ownership company was a lot less than $96MM…in fact at least $10MM less…and in our humble opinion, the paint scheme as below (when offered by Aviatrade, white with silver pinstripes) was a tad more elegant than its current livery…whatever !

Aviatrade can now offer eager future Gulfstream G700 owners another opportunity to acquire a Gulfstream G700…please call or email for additional information and Aviatrade promises a far more attractive price tag than $96MM !
BTW…Gulfstream can only wish it could sell G700’s for $96MM !
Aviatrade…All Gulfstream…All of the time !
