There’s apparently a G800 already available for resale, fresh-off the production line and sitting on the delivery ramp in Savannah, GA, (for the uninitiated, Gulfstream’s HQ).
The G700 versus the G800
It’s the Gulfstream model that utilizes the G650/ER airframe, so the interior is not quite so voluminous as the G700 and this example has a “somewhat custom” interior with fewer than the usual 14-16 seats, but who’s counting seats when it’s the only G800 available… immediately ???
However, it’s “legs” are longer than the G700 (8,200 nm) and it’s price is lower…something around $80-82MM will probably buy it. That’s still a hefty premium over the Gulfstream factory price, but a buyer can avoid the two year wait đź‘Ť
